Member and co-author of the AIA AI Firm Toolkit, published April 2026: a maturity diagnostic, AI literacy, seven policy and ethics frameworks, and change management for firms of every size.

Climate Action and Climate Justice subcommittee, where he proposed building the Climate Justice in Architecture resource from stories of practice and recruited its author. Communications subcommittee. Reviewer of Code of Ethics Canon VI updates on behalf of COTE.

Commissioned by the AIA from Lake Flato and Buro Happold with the Sustainable Performance Institute and unabridged Architecture. Stine organized the writing across four firms, then taught it to the membership as an AIA continuing-education session.

Teaching the AIA's chapters
Since 2020, seventeen invited sessions at eleven AIA chapters and state components across seven states, from AIA Houston's full day of continuing education to AIA California's circular-construction webinar, AIA New York COTE, the Boston Society of Architects, AIA Philadelphia COTE, AIA New Orleans, AIA Los Angeles, AIA Minnesota COTE, AIA San Francisco, AIA Austin, and his own AIA San Antonio, where he presents on AI and early energy modeling and helps run the AI Knowledge Group.
